Whenever any kind of construction work is started on any new land, before that the worship of the land is done, it is believed that if there is any kind of defect on the land, or there is a mistake knowingly or unknowingly from the owner of that land. If this has happened, Mother Earth showers her grace by forgiving mistakes on all kinds of faults by worshiping the land. There may be times when a person buys land.The land has become impure due to the wrong actions of the former owner of the said land, so it is re-purified by Bhoomi Pujan. It is believed that the construction work gets completed smoothly if the land is worshiped. There is no loss of life during or after construction and also one gets freedom from other problems.
